Hormone Modulation - Women PDF Print E-mail

Are you aging gracefully? Would you like to feel and look younger?

If you could tighten your body, remove wrinkles, improve skin tone, lose body fat, increase libido, decrease depression and moodiness, and feel and look like you did in your 20s, would you be interested?

Would you commit to a program to regain the vitality, energy, and body that you once had?

As women age, their bodies' levels of hormones gradually begin to decline. By age 40, at least one-third of women have deficient levels of growth hormone and estradiol, and progestin levels begin falling as they enter menopause. Testosterone (produced in the ovaries and adrenal glands) and thyroid hormone also decline during this time. Women also undergo drastic drops in estrogen production at menopause. The average age for menopause is 51, but typically the range runs from 45 to 55.

As women age and as the levels of these key hormones diminish, profound degenerative changes begin occurring with growth and metabolism that affect the breasts, vagina, bones, blood vessels, gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, cardiovascular system, skin, brain, and energy levels.

Menopause is the last stage of a gradual biological process in which the ovaries reduce their production of female sex hormones. Typically, the ovaries begin to decline in hormone production during the mid 30s. When a woman is in her late 40s, the process accelerates and hormones fluctuate even more causing irregular menstrual cycles and unpredictable episodes of heavy bleeding. By her early to mid 50s, a woman's period ends altogether. By this time, estrogen production has slowed significantly causing an onset of changes in the body.

No matter what your age, if your female hormones (estrogen, progesterone, and even testosterone) are unbalanced, you may suffer ill effects such as hot flashes, night sweats, depression, vaginal dryness, fatigue, and weight gain.

Infinite Vitality's Hormone Replacement Therapy for Women typically involves replenishing estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, human growth hormone and DHEA levels to optimum safe ranges (comparable to when you we're in your mid-late 20s). As a result, the symptoms of menopause can be alleviated or prevented altogether. In the long term, HRT also helps protect a woman from heart disease, osteoporosis, and memory loss.

Suzanne Somers recently wrote two books on HRT and how it changed her life, titled "The Sexy Years" and "Ageless." These are good references on the benefits of HRT for women.
